Spending Time with Howard and Beth Stern

 I was spending time with Howard Stern. We had met up in his garden. He says he has a pink thumb since everytime he trims his roses, he cuts himself. Roses are his favorite thing. Howard always keeps a rooftop garden. He has access to the buildings he buys places to live in. Having a rooftop garden means he always has access to a romantic location to take his wife. The shock jock loves waterfalls and fountains. The meticulously maintained garden is a treat to see. Beth enjoys gardening with her
husband. Gardening is an art they share. If the couple ever decides to host a Gardening show, there is a lot we could learn from them.

Howard has such a beautiful relationship with his wife Beth. They nurture each other with so much joy in their hearts. Howard will always say Beth spoils him and Beth says Howard gives her everything she wants and it is him that spoils her. What makes it so sweet is how they both light up when their names are mentioned. Their romantic encounters make them both legendary. Unlike Howard's usual personality, he was so taken by Beth when they met that he was a little tongue tied. Howard is known for his ease with words. He is a very great communicator with a broad knowledge. 

We had planned to go up to the Hamptons, but instead we decided to stay in NYC.  Howard knows some great places to go. He likes to wine and dine his guest since he is always a gentleman. His wife is a wonderful hostess. They entertain guests of all sorts from musicians, model, professors, all forms of society, some famous and some not famous but all are treated really well. Everybody is important to him. 

The reason we decided to stay in New York City was Rod Stewart was in town and he was having a concert. Howard surprised me with some backstage passes. The pair have known each other for quite a long time. Howard enjoys seeing Rod on a more casual venue, but Rod Stewart has amazing concerts that they are really hard to miss. Rod Stewart performs with the energy of a kid and his youthful style captures the audiences. He is really one of the best Rock Concert performers of all time. Nobody can take their eyes off the stage from the monent he walks on it.

Once we got backstage, we saw the staff had prepared buffet style set up for evening. The room was filled with some flowers, a few soccer balls, food and equipment. The chairs were simple but very comfortable. Rod might have had a "Meet and Greet" earlier since there were several chairs set up. He popped in before the show to say hi to us before the music began. The entertainer was so excited. He is always a showman. We went to our seats and the concert began.

Spending Time With Rod Stewart and Family

A few years back, I spent the day at Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster's house. Rod had on his kilt and Penny and I were treated to some traditional Scottish dancing. Rod is an amazing dancer and anyone who has seen him on stage knows he can really move. Learning Scottish dance from Rod was a huge thrill. Penny is a great dancer as well. We had the best time, twirling, pointed feet steeping, kicking as we did jigs and spun each other around. Rod was always in the lead. Penny and I followed. It was such a fun way to celebrate. The Stewart's, the entire family, like to live life to the fullest by celebrating the day. They are great examples of joyful living. Speaking of Rod's family, as we were dancing Sean, Rod's son, appeared. Sean took turns dancing with Penny and I. Since he is such an energetic person, Sean, got caught up in the twirling around. Before he knew it, he was dizzy and had to stop spinning. It was funny to watch his eyes bobble as they caught up with the rest of his body. Anytime I have seen a dizzy person, I get caught up in the movement of their eyes. It is so rapid and out of sorts. 

Before long, we had all worked up an appetite. Rod must have heard about the story of Tom Cruise and I enjoying gingerbread cookies. He had baked up some totally silly, fun looking gingerbread cookies. The cookies had wild faces. Some of the gingerbread men had pieces of them cut out and decorated as if the had been bitten off. Other gingerbread cookies were boss-eyed, some had wild smiles and others had missing teeth. Like I said, These were funniest gingerbread men I had every seen, but they tasted amazingly good. Rod had played a joke on me with the cookies, but it was tastefully done(pun intended). He is one of the sweetest kind hearted gentlemen with the best sense of humor and free spirited, joyful energy. 

 

Later that day, we all played soccer on the gaming system Rod had set up. I love computer games and much as he does especially when its combined with sports. They are so much fun.

Vacation with Tom Cruise

One of my favorite vacations with Tom Cruise occurred when we were staying at a luxurious guest house with a lovely pool. The pool had a stunning fountain and the house was decorated in a classic style.

After unpacking, Tom and I decided to go roller blading. Tom had on navy shorts and a grey t-shirt with a cartoon image on it and I had on a pink shirt white floral shorts. There was a park nearby that is well known for its roller blading paths. We drove up to the top of the mountain and slipped on our skates. The sun was bright. There were a few clouds in the sky. It was the perfect temperature for movement and exercise. The wind generated by our skating felt incredible. It was like flying under our own power. We did not have wings but the speed of the skates combined with the slight breeze made it all seem like flying. Skiing sometimes gives me that same flight feeling. We skated part of the way down before stopping to look at the view.  I think it would have been the perfect spot for a picnic, but we weren't prepared that day for a picnic.

When we got back to the house, Tom and I were very hungry. We decided to look to see what was in the refrigerator. I peaked over Tom's shoulder to see what was in the frig and I noticed a bottle of champagne in the corner. It was well stocked with lots of food including fruits, cut up veggies, a salad combo and so many other items. Tom looked at me and said," Let's order in." We decided to get food delivered. There was a wonderful French restaurant nearby. There was a menu in one of the kitchen drawers.

They next day, Tom and I visited a nearby spa with a big water area. It had slides, stream areas to ride along and wonderful fountains. We enjoyed the pool areas. They had several tubes to use and the poolside bar was another plus. While enjoying the open area, we came upon Adam Sandler who was there with his family. Adam started a tip over war. I am not sure the correct name of the game or if there is a name. Adam got me several times but Tom was not as easy to tip over. The game of tipping friends over is such a fun game. Adam took his share of times in the water. Then we all decided to float down the relaxing stream.

 The spa is a common hangout for celebrities and staff are use to seeing so many famous people that they never blink an eye. It is all so natural. There are several vacation spots that are frequented by celebrities throughout the year. Often only the locals know that their town is a celeb hotspot. I once teased Adam Sandler about tearing up a 5 star hotel with his wild partying which was a total joke since he read his book most of the time and swimming. Adam said, "He likes to show the wife a good time, and sometimes it means tearing down the house literally." Adam cracks everybody up. He likes to tease Jackie. Once and awhile, he will get her to blush. Jackie is a sweet person.

We stayed at the pool all day. Tom made sure I had sunscreen reapplied as needed and I did the same for him. There were lots of quick kisses and cuddles in the water. I have always said, Tom is a very affectionate man who likes to cuddle up. I have some fantastic memories of cuddling up with Tom and enjoying the warm loving feeling. The spa had nice cabanas set up that allowed for relaxing, eating and drinking in a cozy way. Swimming, relaxing, drinking and just having a great time. The slides were pretty open. I enjoyed them. Water slides are exhilarating. They look so long, but go so fast. Time flew by and the day was wonderful.

Catching up with Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt has a secret hotel that he loves to go to. I recall the chaos we caused on one visit to the hotel. The staff forgot to read his memo listing me as one of his approved visitors. I had been there before. Sometimes staff changes occur which can create an impact. Brad Pitt's celebrity status combined with the hotel's awareness that their place was chosen by him as a trusted location for him to enjoy, created a kink in our plan to meet up and have lunch in the hotel's bar. They go the extra mile to maintain his secrecy. The hotel staff  had me check in across the street while they got the clearance. I always mention his name when I check in and the hotel staff is very courtesy. Security was tight but Brad got the feeling something was wrong after the bartender commented he knew I wouldn't no show Brad especially single Brad. We go back a long time, we have been close for a big part of our lives. Wisconsin was one meeting place we both travelled to for vacation. Skiing in remote cabins of Wisconsin is still possible. Cross country skiing is such a good workout. For those exercise buffs, Brad has a cross country skiing machine he enjoys, but lately he has been enjoying Pilates and yoga for the tranquility of the movement. Qui Gong is enjoyable to him, but he says he does know how to do it very well.

While Brad was waiting at the bar, I was trying to get my luggage clearance to come through. Normally it is not this difficult since over the years many of his staff know to look out for me and they take care of everything without a glitch. This time it was funny but at the time a little overwhelming. When I first came in the hotel, I saw Brad from a distance so I knew he was in the building. I had not run into the hotel security yet and was on my way to front desk to get the clearance identified in order to begin our evening. Brad was working on a movie at the time. He had checked into the hotel a few weeks before I had arrived. He does not usually stay in hotels long but this hotel was very guarded and a favorite place for him with a lot of good memories. He had a drink of gin and tonic. Since it was the middle of the day the hotel bar was very quiet.

Once we got all of our stuff set up, we decided to go out on the town. Brad popped a hat on and dark glasses which was just enough to leave doubt in the minds of certain observers as to who he was. Before we left, Brad bent over and kissed me on the cheek in that special way he does. I got another quick public kiss at the restaurant. He is such an affectionate person. Brad took me to an out of the way place with American cuisine. I had a beautifully prepared cod dish and Brad enjoyed a slice of lasagna. We held hands throughout dinner. The restaurant was well known for their variety of menu selections. I almost went for the lasagna as well since it looked like a yummy dish and I saw it being brought out by a server for another table. The waiters took a couple of selfies that Brad willingly complied. The evening was a world wind. It seems when I am caught up in the pleasure of good conversation and even better company, then I get lost in time. The evening goes so quickly.

This is such a nice magazine cover, I hope everyone picks it up and GQ has great taste in topics. They are good at interviews not just from a man's perspective but topics and people that appeal to both sexes.

Another little secret about Brad, I was given permission to share, is that he has maintained a good friendship with Warren Beatty over the years. The two are good friends. He recently mentioned that if Nicole Kidman was single he would have asked her out on a date and then Brad smiled. He felt that  not only is Nicole Kidman one of the funniest celebrities in Hollywood who knows how to have fun but he was told she is a great kisser. Brad would not reveal his sources on Nicole's kissing talent. It does not surprise me since Nicole is very passionate and Keith is always smiling. Brad then continued to say he did not think Nicole Kidman would go out with him because she likes a smooth sexy guy and Brad says he is not as sexy as Keith Urban , Nicole's husband. Brad said that with a smile. Brad Pitt is always humble. Its part of his charm. He likes to play with me, so I never know what he is going to say or what he is trying to set up.He has one of the most playful personalities of any of Hollywood's leading men. A short side note, Brad mentioned that he started taking dancing lessons. I know he is a terrific dancer already. He also wanted me to thank Kate Hudson for the times she let him sleep over on her coach. Its a running joke they have about his living style. Kate likes to tease and she is very good at it.

Brad Pitt's Funny Side

Brad Pitt and I were staying at an old hotel together. He was saying silly things to me to make me follow him. Brad kept leading me into the hotel with playfulness until we found our room. The room was a double suite. There were people in the other rooms around us but they seemed to be caught up n their own romance. The stately hotel was decorated in Victorian style. It was amazing. We walked the grounds together after dropping off our stuff in the suite. I recall the beautiful flowers in bloom.

Brad Pitt likes to dance with me. We danced a lot that weekend. Every time the music comes on, he looks at me to see what I am going to do. If the song is right, it doesn't matter where we are, he will take me in his arms and dance with me. If I want to get his attention, I simply but on the music and away we go.

Brad is one of the most romantic guys. He handles every detail in a thoughtful way. He knows exactly where my tickle spots are. Some of those giggly spots are not typical places. They are not sexual spots either but they are really funny when they are touched in a certain way. Tickling when it is gentle and not constant is fun. My husband knows how to tickle me like Brad does in such a way that it is gentle and pleasant. It always makes them crack up because it is such an unusual reaction for me to be tickled like I am . I have a giggle release button that is right at the surface so laughter is just a finger touch away.

Brad likes to follow along with my blogs and makes the nicest commentaries or reminisces with me on the finer details of the latest blog I have written. When I wrote last weeks blog about his game playing, he reminded me of how much he loves to play cards. He is good at playing cards like Black Jack and Poker. He knows when I am teasing him in my blogs, but that is a secret that he and I share. 

Back to the hotel. We always have enjoyable conversations about what life is. He has a lot of deep spiritual thoughts and that is part of what attracted us to each other not just our common playful instincts. One of the things we discussed was how often people forget how good things are at the time. An attitude of gratitude is a way of life in our opinions. Giving thanks in whatever form means a lot. It is a shared viewpoint. We played tennis that weekend at a nearby park. I did not win, but I kept the volley going. 

He makes some of the funniest faces of anyone I have ever met. At a moments notice and almost anywhere, he pops out a monkeys face that is hilariuos. During the first night of our stay, I was reading my menu and looked up at him to see that monkey face. He did it for the first time that weekend. Later while we were eating, once again he made that face, I almost spit out my water. Nobody saw him do it. It was so perfectly timed that only I got the joke. Being the only one to see the face made it funnier. His monkey face makes everyone smile. I don't do a monkey face like he does but I am well known for my variety of silly expressions at random times. These expressions are part of my humor. Jon Bon Jovi loves it when I crack a face. Brad is the one who gave me the name Giggle Puss. The name means happy faces to us both and to others who know me by that name.

Me having fun with the camera. I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day. I have more fun photos from this week as my husband made me laugh with his witty sense of humor. 

Angelina Jolie Secret Action Thiller Movie

The film is based upon a heroine and her escort played by me. In the movie, the female lead played by Angie gets betrayed while working as an assassin. The betrayal is different than the ones seen in her films Salt or Mr and Mrs Smith. This stab in the back is more high tech . For example, there is DNA coding, hidden computer chips, a form of brainwashing or hypothesis that only takes effect in certain situations and more. She has to join the bad guys in order to escape from being killed. While a member of that evil group she has to keep her cover as she tries to figure out who in the agency betrayed her. It is a sellout with many twists and turns. Angelina's character has to be very smooth in order to hide her true intentions while being the main squeeze of the of a very nasty bad guy. It is like sleeping with one eye open at all times. One of the film's opening stunts includes freefalling from a building on to a tent set up for them to catch their fall while they escaped the good guys. The alleged agency had somebody working for a third bad guy organization.

In jest, Angelina Jolie and I have discussed a comedic version of the same plot line using based upon an extremely competitive shoe sale and battles over a certain pairs of shoes with high tech gadgets. The competing divas would one up each other even though they were best friends to the point of risking life and limb to gain the hot pair of shoes. As a result of the shoe game, other moms became involved in the exchange between our two characters over the shoes. The other mom's group of characters becomes the third agency just like in the thriller. The three competing agencies with multiple stabs in the back themes transformed from the original plot from action to farce. Sometimes Angie will throw out a twist in the shoe plot and our two minds will build upon it. It is an ever evolving running joke as the entire premise is over shoe collections.

Women and shoes can sometimes make people go crazy or so the shoe jokes convey. While on the topic of shoes and feet, there is a funny joke that I tease Nicole Kidman about. I have jokingly said that she had steel tipped toenails that grow at three times the normal rate and Angie's grow the same way. "Rapunzel let down your toenails".  With one clip, pedicures involving Nicole's toes became a danger zone. A clip would send weapon like toenail boomerangs flying throughout the room. The woman who does Nicole's toes has to shave her toes first, but its all a funny wild joke since we all know how beautiful, well groomed and amazing she is- right down to her toenails. Hollywood women are always well groomed with idea manis and pedis being the norm. The concept of boomerang toenails might come from a Bugs Bunny cartoon.

Angelina Jolie is a very happy person by nature and a little shy to start in a one on one situation. Once she warms up her open heart leads the way. One of the funniest things I have seen her do is her beaver impression. In fact, almost every one of the many impressions Angie can do is roll on the floor laughing kind of impression. She loves to play with chopsticks. Jam sessions often break out around the dinner table in Angelina Jolie's home. I don't think she would have it any other way. Both Nicole and Angie tease me about my wild hair. I can make the best upside down while standing upright hair without a drop of hairspray. I might have mentioned how my daughter shaped it into a unicorn horn that stood straight up.

Wet and Wild Swimming with Tosh

Daniel Tosh is one of the funniest guys on land get in him in the water and "Wet and Wild"has a whole new meaning. He is never rude nor indecent unlike the persona on his show where he deliberately tries to reveal as much of his anatomy as possible and in as many wild ways as he can. It is part of his charm and appeal to the audience Tosh has. He wore a neon green speedo swimsuit. I think he picked his swimsuit out because he knows I call speedo style swimsuits "peenie pushers" #completelyinappropriatebathingssuits That name made him crack up the first time I used it. #justforlaughs He is such a handsome guy that he can pull off almost anything and make it look good. I like his wholesome ways. When you get him one on one he is not boisterous, but actually very soft spoken with a carefree loving outlook. He enjoys holding hands. We had other unique words for things not just "peenie pushers" such as the term  "sea monkeys" used in references. Sea Monkeys are a people who love to swim and swim really well. There were a few other things that went on that made the day wild. Mostly of the wildness was the humor we shared. Tosh likes to sing at random moments just as I do. He sang out several summer songs to make me smile. I joined in with him on in duets on a few of them as the Karaoke moments broke out throughout the day. Tosh reminds me so much of Don Diablo. Every time Tosh sings now I think of Don and listening to Don Diablo makes me think of Tosh. On a side note, a male friend I have told me that Don Diablo likes to kiss a woman's hand. It was said to him that a kiss on the hand is a sign of respect and adoration.

From Daniel's wonderful bubble face to his famous porpoise impression, swimming with Tosh is always fun. Spending time in the water with him is always fun. The porpoise impression he does involves making his body streamline as while flying forward through the water. Surfacing to let out a porpoise call that is really good and very unique. In the distance, I could have sworn I heard a lion respond to him. Daniel has always told me he likes a good waterfall. He never explained to me why. Here I am in the middle of a waterfall.

The pool was at a nice hotel in the US. Florida will be everyone's first guess, but it was not a pool in Florida and it was not winter. I like a little mystery so keeping you guessing with a few clues is fun. Daniel was not famous at the time, but I always knew he would be. He had so much to offer and the spark that makes a person really funny was in almost everything he did. I might be slightly aggerating

but why not he is not known for his subtly and that it was makes Tosh so much fun to watch and spend time with. Tosh bring whisky with him in a little flask. He calls it his,"trashy juice". There is a story behind it but I will save it for another time. It might be related to the fact we both think whisky
gets people trashed really fast. I have never seen anyone as good at snorkeling as Daniel is.

He can go underwater for a long time with the mask and stay under. It is impressive to me as he seems to melt into the environment and he always comes to the surface of the water with a big smile. During a conversation, Tosh mentioned he had always been a strong swimmer and that might be how he got his impressive lung compacity. We both have the ability to talk to about almost anything to each other. He is a very good listener and equally good conversationalist.

Fun in the Snow with Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt is one of the most creative people who always has the latest joke to share. His acting and spiritual gifts have drawn people to him all his life. He is a structural minded person with schooling to support his interests in architecture, design and fine arts. What people dont realize is building a great snowman takes a lot of structural know how. I dont have the requirements to truly build a enormous snowman. I can build a great snow bunny, snow furniture complete with snow tv, and other random items in the use of snow. That evening, Brad and I decided to go with something conservative so we started with a simple snowman with a knitted cap. Where the snow art began was not where it ended up. The first snow design of the traditional snowman was perfectly rounded with each ball situated exactly on top in the direct center. It looked as picture perfect as any snowman on any Holiday card. We both enjoyed the rolling and completing the product was so much fun. In my many years of building snowmen of all shapes and sizes as well as colors, I could not replicate the roundness that Brad could achieve. He has an engineering mind even though he does not realize it, but the engineer in him comes out in subtle ways like the round snowman.

 Brad gets caught up in having fun that he looses track of time. As I mentioned before when you are so happily engaged in something you enjoy, you loose track of time. The state of mind where you happily forget everything around you but what you are working on is achieving in simple terms the flow state of being. Brad gets into the flow often. His happy go lucky nature and his imp streak make him a lot of fun.

The most famous snowman that makes everyone smile 

We got into all kinds of fun with the snow that day. Things got very creative as a game of Snow Pictionary developed. We each began to mold the snow into different shapes while we stopped to ask the other person if they could guess what was being created. Nothing we created was very big at that point. Many of them looked a lot like alien life forms.  The most successful snow creation that I crafted  that day was a snow leopard. Trying to create a snow leopard was a difficult mission but I accomplished the task. Brad guessed what it was pretty quickly and that surprised me. His bulldozer snow creation was the best. We were speed molding in as the game went along. Once the item was correctly guessed a new design would begin. Guesser became creator and vice versa. He and I were cracking up so much at the guesses and the masterpieces that tears of laughter broke out. Even though it was not part of the game, the llama we created together was outrageous of all. The llama had the biggest backside that it almost fell over, but we fell over instead laughing. References to the classic movie Ghost began as we both made comments. It crossed my mind that Jon Bon Jovi would have started some snow fight since Jon always loves a good snow battle.

Once the game had ended, sledding was our next activity. We used a couple of sleds he had in his car. The sleds were the circular style. I was surprised at how much speed we could pick up since the incline was not that steep. Our game of tag was a slippery engagement. I would like to say I kissed him the first time that night but I had already kissed in many times in the past. He is always a great kisser and I am sure Gwyneth Paltrow would agree with me:)  The night went so quickly, most good evenings do.

Skiing with Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise and I went to stay at a private ski lodge. We both enjoy skiing very much. If I mentioned the place's location then the lodge might be exposed. In order to keep Tom's secret ski place special I won't give away too many details. The lodge had an amazing view from every direction. The snow gave the woods a peaceful feeling. I could see deer tracks or at least I think they were deer. When I first found them I smiled. Seeing the wildlife presence that close to me was a nice feeling. I love animals and enjoy seeing deer. Even though it was cold, the atmosphere was very warm. Tom is a very affectionate person as I mentioned before. He likes to come up behind you and wrap his arms around you. I like that snuggly style. It is romantic to feel the heat warmth of someone you care for up against you. Tom would talk to me about the view or sometimes our plans for the rest of the day. I loved that feeling and those up close conversations were the best. He would always end the conversations with a quick kiss on the neck. Another romantic thing Tom would do was to carry a little heart in his pocket and he would give me one from time to time. It was a small gesture and the hearts were a small penny sized glass heart. It was symbolic of his ways, he always had time to share and love to give.

We both love to ski. I have been skiing since I was a teenager. Tom use to have a snowboard but I am not sure if he has one anymore. He has not mentioned it in awhile. I learned from him that a mountain does not have to be high for it to be a good place to ski. We liked to ski close to each other down the mountain. I am not as fast as some skiers. I don't go as fast as Tom can go down a slope. I enjoy the feeling of the snow. For me, I like the side to side motion of the curving path and that style slows you down quite a bit. I like the feel of the graceful movement of slaloming rather than the all out straighter smaller slalom. We spent about a week in the mountains. Skiing for hours at a time, playing in the snow and going for walks. Creating funny looking snowmen amused us. You would be surprised at what you can create in snow. As they say time flies when you are having fun.

The lodge had a fireplace that we used each evening. Occasionally, we  drank hot chocolate with a little Bailey's Irish Cream to warm us up. By the fire, we most often had a glass of wine. Neither of us are really big drinkers but the once and awhile treat is pleasant.We both have had our share of research on the subject of wine. Tom likes to make tomato soup, hot or cold it is always delicious.

The house had a ping pong table. It was stocked with a collection of board games for guests to borrow or maybe it was Tom who had the board games brought to the place. He does his best to keep work separate. He is always available and that unlimited access that he gives to his business associates and different producers keeps him as one of the most well respected actors in the world. It is not just his talent but his business sense and sense of respect that shows in his work. I noticed this throughout my time with Tom. On this occasion, he was working on some new publicity concept related to a future move that was not yet in production. I recall some of the conversations since he included me in them. Asking my opinion , was his way of showing me respect as well as getting my input since I do have a unique way of seeing things combined with a marketing degree. These business conversations were not the focus of our talk but rather small talk as thoughts came into his mind or phone calls occurred.

Nicole Kidman's Beach House

A few years back Nicole had offered to let me stay with her at a beach house in Southern California. He had rented the place and asked to come and join her. Who could resist an invite  from one of the most amazing people I have ever met. Nicole has a way of making every adventure fun. She so much personality and fun loving totally fits her. We both have the same kind of enthusiasm. Most people refer to it as the bubbles in champagne. It is hard to ignore how enthusiastic people make the day seem bright. The giggling and the hooting like cheerleaders cheering on our favorite teams. Those teams are not just occasional sports teams but they are the families, friends and animals we have. In short the teams are the people we find around us. Even if they are only in our lives for a short period of time accidental enthusiasm comes in the form of praises we both give to those people we connect with on a short term basis. Seeing the world as good and full of potential is the best way to live. When you see it as full of potential, it is common to express gratitude towards others for their contribution to this world may be more than what it seem. In other words, see everybody as special.

On the first day Nicole Kidman and I were together, we spent the say on the beach. The beach was her backyard. It was nice to be able to come and go back and forth to and from the house as we wanted. Of course, she made some yummy margaritas. We both had a thirst for those fun drinks. Margaritas are a wonderful part of summer. In the frig was some cut up fruit and some cheese in storage container. Those snacks hit the spot. I know she eats a lot of fruits and veggies but cheese is her weakness. I must say a good cheese is very pleasurable. Brie is a favorite of my children. I was into cupcakes and Nicole knew that, but she always pay attention to her guests and what they say. Nicole is a great listener as well as a great storyteller. There were some cupcakes in the frig. The house was immaculate. The house's post modern art gave it a flashy but relaxed style and the view from the balcony was amazing. I am not sure who the home's owner was, but whoever it was they had great taste in composition and design. I loved the feeling inside. Nicole knows almost every state, where to stay and who to contact to find a perfect location. The West Coast does not have the warm water that Hawaii does on a year round basis. I love both locations for their own uniqueness.

Nicole Kidman likes to play with funny straws. She will often buy some wild looking straws. Loop to loop and character straws in all shapes, sizes and colors even ones that glow in the dark. Funny, funky straws are a specialty of any of Nicole's drinks. She does not get enough credit for her wild straw collecting like the Golden Globe straw that blew me over. I am not sure how or where Nicole found them but they are shaped like Golden Globes. The drink goes around the globe to the top. You really have to suck hard on the straws, but no one ever complains. It's fun watching the drink approach.  She is without a doubt a #strawmaster

When went swimming daily. Throughout the day, we would take plunges into the water. It was so much fun. Nicole looked stunning in her red bikini with a black hat and red scarf. I wore a baby blue one with polka dots. The water was cool but refreshing.  Disco dancing until the wee hours of the morning with and without an audience or group is always on the agenda. Nicole and I have spent years dancing and in formal training. Our toe shoes date back to before we were teenagers.

Nicole is a very good storyteller. Through listening to her, I have been to many places that she has been and seen them through her eyes. Society has had storytellers throughout the ages and its a part of culture going back to Ancient Greeks and beyond. Part of what makes people happy about being with her, is how freely she shares the most unique stories. Hearing her happiness as she recounts them is contagious. After all these are psychologically documented human traits to experience joy by sharing your good adventures and the same joy in hearing the good experiences of others. Nicole shares those memories knowing in doing that she is making others happy. Studies on the positive influence that recounting your memories with others of special times or places you have been can be found online by using search engines. I experienced this training in some of my classes over the years. It is a positive way to spread love that costs nothing. I see her as a visionary in the positive psychology movement. The reason I say it, is the openness and joy she expresses leaves others inspired to do the same. Talking to people wherever she goes makes the world she has travelled a happier one.
