Meeting John Travolta

 Meeting John Travalota was a surprise. I met him at a party that a few of his friends were hosting. I was not aware that he was coming to the party. I was there with a friend. The groups were mingling throughout the lower level of the house. John had a small cluster of people gathered around him. I walked into him by accident. He was very polite as he welcomed me into the conversation. John has the reputation of being one of the nicest guys in Hollywood and one of the funniest. He is always a gentleman. The reason why I think certain members of Scientology wanted us to meet was so he could give me an understanding of Scientology from his perspective and how it changed his life.

John and I discussed many things that evening with the others who were with us. I recall we discussed our mutual appreciation of surfing and our ideas on teletransportation. From sporting to intellectual concepts, our minds floated to different thoughts and the result was one of the most interesting conversations I have ever had. Tom Cruise is another person who always challenges my mind. Brad Pitt always makes me wonder. Brad has a unique way of opening a person up to questioning their own thoughts and accepting new ideas. Each person I met in Hollywood has a unique style of conversation, but they are always pleasant, uplifting and generous with their time. If you're going to be an actor, you have to like, value and appreciate people. I would not say it is a prerequisite but it sure does make life easier. 

I enjoy John's diversity of knowledge. The way he can root through conversations on so many topics is similar  to the way Howard Stern does it. I know Howard and John have been friends for years, John has a lot of friends all over. Everyone who meets John calls him a friend. He is very likeable and geniune. Having been in Hollywood for a long time, John gets along with celebrities of all ages which puts him on the guest list of all ages. He had been chewing on a toothpick on and off throughout the evening. It reminded me of one his movie characters. I think he did it on purpose to see the reaction. John has a subtle sense of humor. You have to be paying attention or you will miss something. 

The couple hosting the party had arranged for several foods to be places around the lower level and out on the patio near the pool. The tables outside were set up in little groups. I loved the mixed drinks or spritzers they were serving. No one swam that evening. The pool was more for atomosphere. It was beautifully lit up. If I had brought my swimsuit, I might have started the swimming off. There is always one person who starts the swimming or the danicng off at each party. Once one does then others follow.

Tom Cruise's Romantic Getaway

 Tom Cruise had reservations at a historic hotel on the East Coast. It was summer. The area had a lot of historic building just the way Tom likes it. He had a gorgeous suite booked with several rooms. The suite was on the top floor of the building. The hotel wasn't very big, but it was famous for its archectural splendor, romatic feel and the cuisine. Tom always likes a classy place;) 

Tom and I had dinner in a secluded part of the lobby of the grand hotel where we could enjoy our meals incognito. We both like historical places and discussing the past. The hotel was ideal for it. It had a rich history with spectacular ornamentation throughout. Places with a story to tell adds to the dimensions of the experience while staying under its roof. Since Tom has been on so many movie sets, he knows the best places to get both scenic and archectural beauty positioned in historical areas.  

Tom had the waiter bring us some fresh fruits and a lovely salad. Since I am a pescatarian, he has nice enough to have only fish brought to us. My delicious lightly butter Cod with a mango salsa was divine. Tom ate a Mahi Mahi with the same topping. Both were perfectly cooked. We drank a fruity soft white wine that paired wonderfully with the entrees. The mood was very romatic with dim lighting. He was so taken with the place, that I thought he might just buy it. I was wearing a white shorts set and Tom had on a brown and white plaid polo style shirt with khaki pants. 

After dinner, we ventured up to our rooms by exploring the hotel. The lobby had a balcony with a piano and some exotic plants. Walking around the balcony led us to the elevator and up to our rooms. When we arrived, he hopped up on the bed and I joined him. We sat there casually and discussed evening plans. He and I agreeded that a tour of the city would be a great adventure for us. The car to take us on a tour was set to arrive in an hour.

We got in to the car and cuddled up in the backseat. He likes to put his arm around me and he slipped his arm into position. Several quick kisses were given, but not the first ones of the evening. The driver took us around the city stopping at interesting points just in case we wanted to get out and explore the area. We were both drawn to the water. Tom set up a boat ride and the driver took care of the arrangments while we waited. The dock area was lit up with boats, lights, docking spaces and other nautical lighting. We boarded a small luxury craft that was borrowed from a fan. The boat owner rents different styles and sizes of boats for various occasions. Once out on the water, we could see the stars fill the sky and hear the water background. Sitting outside on the water craft was just the right spot. The night was warm and splendid. The boat driver slowed the boat down as it floated without movement, just the gentle rocking of the waves. Music was playing and we danced under the stars on the boat. The rest I will

Tom Cruise's Winter Rendezvous

 The next day, Tom Cruise and I went to the lodge nearby.  We had a great time drinking at the bar. The hotel manager let us borrow a room for us to reunite in and for us to leave our luggage in. We had brought a few outfits with us to the lodge area in small carry on style bags. One for each of us in case we decided to stay. Each of us brought the bathing suits we needed to use the pool, our ski equipment(pants, gloves, boots etc) and a change of clothes. It was a lovely evening and the manage made sure we were left alone. Our table was discreetly hidden not that anyone would have bothered us since as I mentioned the Poconos is a great place for celebs. They can walk left alone and yet embrace their celebrity and enjoy fans when they want to. It is balancing act between private time and social time. We decided to enjoy a light supper after having spent the day exploring the pool. The pool was the best. Tom did his patented swan dive which sent the water flying. He enjoys making a big impact, literally in the pool.  Tom is a very light hearted person.  He makes me feel excited and peaceful since I never know what we will be doing but I always know it will be fun. Tom takes such good care of me as he anticipates our needs which makes the time. 

We enjoyed the indoor pool and the spa. The hotel had a pretty mural on the walls surrounding the pool. It had a Greek feeling to it. The hotel brought out a small tray of homemade, soft and chewy gingerbread men cookies. They were so cute and perfectly decorated. We had them by the pool as we sat back and relaxed enjoying the water appeal and the warmth of the pool room. There wasn't anyone else in the pool. We had the pool room and all its amenities to ourselves. It was ski season and I think most people were enjoying the slopes. Tom and I did get our turn enjoying the skiing, but that was later in the weekend. Tom and I were enjoying the relaxed pace. 

Will Smith, who is one of the funniest people, likes to mess with Tom by playing jokes on him. Tom and I were relaxing by the pool and Will was repeatedly calling him. He kept asking Tom simple yes or no questions. Each time the phone rang, we would smile. Will would be on the other end of the phone and he would ask some silly question. Tom would answer the question and Will would dismiss himself after getting the answer by say goodbye. Then the phone would ring, Will would say he forgot to get Tom's opinion on his or that. Will kept at it for 20 minutes of on and off short phone calls.  It was really funny. Will Smith is great and keeping the game going. It is part of his natural comedic timing. He doesn't crack up easily, we, on the other hand, did not do as well. The set up was hilariuos. Finally the phone got quiet and the joke was over. Tom and I looked at each other expecting the phone to start, but it stayed silent for the rest of the trip. 

After awhile, we got back in the pool. Tom and I took turns being "It" in a game of tag. We both love to swim, as I have mentioned before. Up and down the pool we went, as we escaped each other's outstretched arms. The shallow end was a little tricky, just as it is in any pool tag. It was so much fun that we lost track of the time. Another couple game in, just before we called the game over. We politely exchanged our pleasantries. Before long, we were both ready to go upstairs. It was pretty close to dinner.

Dinner was delivered up into the room. We went on to stay the night. The suite, just like the company, was just so comfortable.

Getting To Know Howard Stern

One day Brad Pitt and I decided to meet up with Howard Stern at his Penthouse. Before we were introduced by Tom Cruise, I knew Howard was one of the nicest guys. We have several friends in common who told me so many nice things about Howard. The Shock Jock as he is called is really a teddy bear. He is very polite at all times. Howard values nice people and he is always willing to show his appreciation to others. He is a wise person who likes to share his knowledge on so many topics. I can honestly say that he is one of the most interesting and exciting people I have ever met. His diversity of knowledge along with his legendary memory is part of what keeps Howard in demand. He discusses so many things each time you meet him, that you walk away knowing some really neat information. He has a way of keeping the conversation moving and the variety of topics all flow. He listens with intention to everyone. That intent listening is one of the sweetest things he does. When he hosts a party, you know you will eat good. The food he serves is always fantastic. You get to know a lot about each other. For instance, Beth Stern's favorite color is pink. Ashton Kutcher's wife, Mila's favorite color is yellow. Howard and I share a mutual appreciate for Yoga. He also values Qigong. In fact, he recommended Qigong to me. Little known fact, he shares the same birthday as one of my family members.

It is fun to observe Howard with different people as the dynamics change. Tom Cruise and Howard sometimes get philosophical and discuss religion of all types. They are both so open minded. I have researched different religions and sociocultural ideas that we all have a blast intellectualizing as we grow. David Spade and Howard have a similar sense of humor which leads to a lot of laughter. The conversation topics are very different, but always funny. When Nicole Kidman sees Howard, she likes to tease him about how tall he is. It is really funny because Nicole is tall as well. Nicole gets away with it because she is so adorable when does anything like that.

That day, Howard took us for a bike ride through Central Park. It was a cool fall day. I like the fall colors and the park is not as busy in the fall as it is in the summer. Howard doesn't like hot weather for sports and neither do I. when the weather is hot, I prefer to swim or splash play (as in water sports). We rode along the path joyfully discussing many things. Brad was a little quiet. I recall he was more interested in observing than in being as conversationally active as he usually is. Sometimes Brad can be very entranced, in a good way. He like, Howard, likes to take it all in and enjoy the moment to its fullest.

We stopped in front of an ice cream store. Howard bought the ice cream. There was a rush to give the lady the money since both Brad and Howard wanted to treat. I got mint chocolate chip ice cream in a cone and Howard got a small dish of chocolate truffle ice cream and Brad had the same. They were like two peas in a pod once we got our ice cream. They both started chatting and this time it was my turn to listen. I enjoyed watching them have so much fun together that I forgot the time completely.

Behind the Scenes wtih Tom Cruise

I mentioned in my last blog how Tom Cruise took me to a movie studio for a behind the scenes tour. When we arrived at the studio, I knew Tom had it all planned out. He took me to a Western set. He held my hand as he showed me around. It was very exciting for Tom to share his work with me and I was enchanted by all I saw around me. We walked through different scenes and buildings. We came upon a stage coach. Tom opened the door and we both climbed into the coach. It was very romantic inside the coach as we snuggled up upon the comfortable bench. We both got so caught up in the joy of the moment as the stage coach set the mood. Tom Cruise looked me in the eye and asked me to marry him. I was quite surprised. He did not have a ring, but the proposal was real. Tom is a romantic guy who lives in the moment. I did not accept instead, I teased him by saying,"Next time if you have the ring, we can make it official." I was only joking since the idea of being Tom's wife had occurred to me in different outings. When a relationship is going really well, it is natural for both to wonder if this is the one. The fantasy of finding the one becomes the reality of the one. Fantasies become a reality only after they have been a fantasy. Life is like that, so I enjoy living wildly through moments with so many options of the day filling my mind. Tom has a creative mind that flows through things all the time and that is part of his dynamic charm.

We decided to go for a walk amongst the worlds and explore the movies sets around us. The two of us went our cuddly coach. As we walked, I saw there were living rooms, hallways, kitchens and other sets but what impressed me most was how small they were. The sets had a lot of details in them. I liked the items and artwork that was placed on each. It is amazing to think of how the entire world on each set has to be well thought out and created down to the finest detail or the film does not have the impact that the conceptual people are trying to create. Each location had a surreal feeling. A few people came and went while the tour continued.

 The Sci Fi set was very cool. I don't know what movie it was from. I just recall how unique it was to explore.Tom liked to show me how things worked in different places that had a meaning to him or that he just simply liked. There was a laser on a command station in the SciFi set. The gun was a metallic blue with a sleek design. Tom picked it to show me how to make the laser fire. The laser fire was interesting as I imagined what it looks like on the big screen. I still have a fondness for Scifi lasers. He had keys to all the prop rooms at each location. We walked towards the Western set again and the buildings had just facades. We spent hours at the studio going from place to place, scene to scene. It was a magical night.

Poolside with Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise and I had decided to attend one of his close friends garden party. David, the friend I had just mentioned, had a history of throwing very stylish parties. He always had the catered with staff circulating carrying delicious treats and savories. I have a fondness for seafood. I am predominantly pescatarian. Often I do not have seafood but instead I prefer a lovely salmon salad. On

this occasion, David had chosen the most delicious crab puffs. His staff served a wonderful fruity wine spritzer with slices of fresh fruit in it.  The spritzer reminded me of the type of drinks the Kardashians serve. It was a Polynesian themed event.

Tom Cruise and I took a dip in the pool and spoke with the others who were enjoying the warm water. He had on a tropical blue pattern swimsuit and I wore a bright red bikini. There was a cute Cabana house that had a fireplace for winter parties. He had his dark aviator glasses on. They always have a sex appeal to them. You cant quite see his eyes but the hint of them remains. We mingled along in the pool for awhile. Most of the time we spent talking to each other. Tom kept cracking jokes and I was responding. We must have looked like two kids with all the laughing we were doing. Everything the other person said would create a smile. We did not swim as much as we usually do, but we were having so much fun talking to each other. It was a great party with so many great people. Tom held his arms around me while we were in the water. It was so cozy. I mentioned before that Tom Cruise likes to cuddle. Steven Spielberg's name came up while we were in the pool. We both spoke of how much we respected his work. I am not sure why I remembered that but it was simply the time and the place that sticks out in my mind. I also recall us discussing how much we enjoyed each party David held.

We got out of the pool walking up the steps hand in hand. We found a couple of pool chairs to relax and dry off. He had some appetizers brought and another drink for me. The night was slowly approaching. Tom mentioned, with a smile, that he loved to sing. He might have been teasing me since I dont see him releasing an album anytime soon. The prospects of him becoming a Rockstar to the height that he is a Movie star is interesting. So far, it has yet to manifest so I dont think he was that serious. When the movie Rock of Ages came out. I was surprised. He got to live out the fantasy we spoke about  and I thought here he goes. At the party, Tom leaned in and began to sing in my ear. He sang a French song that ended with a kiss on the neck. Tom took me upstairs to the balcony and he asked me to spend the day with him. I did not know what he meant, but I was excited. He informed me that he had a car take me to go get my things as he waited for me back at the party. Before I left, he got a call from a friend of his named Marilyn. Marilyn was just checking to see what we were up to. Tom told him where we were and Marilyn agreed to stop by. I left soon after. 

When I got back, we took a ride to a stage coach set. Tom mentioned to me that this was a private tour. he said I was going to be able to have behind the scenes access to understand what goes into making a big budget movie. I will share the rest of the story in an upcoming blog. 

It was such a wonderful evening full of laughter, romance, balcony views and joy throughout.

A Romantic Weekend Getaway with Tom Cruise.

Tom Cruise and I had checked into this wonderful luxury hotel in southern Miami. I have been to Miami several times and it is always a great time. He picked a hotel near the beach so we could enjoy the view. The suite and adjoining but separate rooms. We liked the privacy of the pool since there were so few people using the hotel pool. It was almost always vacant. Hotel pools can be hit or miss in that they may be crowded or completely empty. I like them both crowded and empty it just depends on the circumstances and who I am with at the time. The pool had its own bar and the bartender was often between the upper floor dining area and the poolside. We did not drink much so he let us know when he would be back and before he left , Jack let us know that he would be coming and going just to make sure we had enough refreshments to get us through until he returned. We had a way to reach him if needed. The pool had a phone line that rang right to the upper dinning area. I dont think we ever had to use it. but Tom and I knew it was available. I mention the pool since that is one of my favorite places.

After a nice swim, Tom and I returned to the suite. Before I could enter the room, Tom swept me into his arms and picked me up. He carried me into the room and placed me on the sofa. I said in a joking fashion," I am not that tired, but thanks for the lift and you can do that any time you like." Tom Cruise is very romantic and he smiled at my response. He knows how much I love to have him spoon me and I could loose track of hours just talking and enjoying a cuddle. Tom likes to give informal massages and he is great with his hands. It was a Valentine's weekend for us even though it was not Valentine's Day on the calendar. He is loving all the time and I am just as affectionate. He must have had some idea that the hotel was under some renovating which caused it to be unusally vacant. We weren't complaining. the quietness of the hotel was lending itself to the romantic feeling Tom and I had growing. The staff seemed lighter than unusual but they were also very organized and things were ideal. It was one of the most luxurious hotels I have visited. There were other celebrities who had come and gone just before we checked into the hotel. There were so many luxury cars in and around the hotel that I knew the neighborhood was very upscale. I would love to tell you more about the hotel but that might give it away. I know Tom likes to stay there since a lot of famous people do stay there often. Miami has so many nice hotels that each have their own style.

We both were so comfortable that we ordered a nice romantic room service meal with roses and champagne the cart was complete. Tom made sure I had chocolate on my plate. I had a chocolate martini as a surprise. I had never had never had one before. The drink was wonderful just as I imagined. We spoke a bit about how wonderful Miami was since we both have been there many times for many different reasons.

After dinner, Tom Cruise and I decided to go out dancing. He left the room and put on his disguise that I mentioned in an earlier blog. He had a pair of round glasses and a fake mustache. I do think part of the fun of the disguise is playing with the new identity. I was facing away from the bathroom and towards the window when Tom came out wearing the mustache and glasses. He spoke to me in an Irish accent. It was kind of like a Lucky Charms commercial and his spontaneous humor cracked me up. It was the first time I had seem him in this disguise and it was really unique. He still looked very handsome just in a different way. He had a scholarly appeal that was sexy. I think he must have known I would find the new look attractive since he started to flirt with me in character. It was a quick game and then we both left the building to go around the corner to a few nightclubs. We walked right in and no one seemed to notice us. It was early still for clubs and the bar was not full. There were people dancing and we joined in. I would like to tell you more but the blog is getting lengthy so I will have to share the rest of the fun of that weekend in another blog. "Enjoy the day" is a phrase Tom says often so I will leave you with that phrase. Enjoy the day.

A little update on my last blog on Portia and Ellen. Ellen has since told me that Portia got into the mermaid act that Ellen likes to create. Ellen said Portia now has an octopus suit that she slips on inside the pool under the water and then pops up to surprise others. Ellen said Portia loves to make people laugh. Birds of a feather flock together is certainly true with Ellen and Portia.

Playing With Nicole Kidman

A few years back, Nicole Kidman and I went to a children's charity event. Nicole was the star at the event but one little girl named Penelope stole some of the spotlight. The little girl was so cute. She had cute curly blonde hair and a beautiful doll face. Penelope had a little wild side to her personality that was so adorably funny. She kept tasting the doughnuts, but not eating them. After she tasted a doughnut she would remove it from the tray so the party tray stayed looking pretty. The problem was she was sampling so many doughnuts that not only was her purse filling up with doughnuts but the other kids started to notice how many doughnuts she was tucking away. When Nicole Kidman saw little sweet Penelope putting the sweets in her purse, she started laughing. Being polite isn't always easy when your so young. Nicole admired the little girl's tenacity and the polite explanation Penelope gave for putting half eaten doughnuts in her

purse. Penelope's explanation for tucking the doughnuts away was that she wanted to make sure each doughnut was as good as the first one. Once she had taken enough samples then she could be sure they were all good and she wanted to see if they had any different flavors that she might have missed. It was all logical to Penelope or was it. I suppose we will never truly know. Penelope would not have lied but she did have a wild imagination and a gift for creative exploration that becomes ingenuity in adults. I dont know Penelope that well. I only know her character through Nicole and others who had observed on that day. She was a sweet kid with so much potential for fun.


Nicole and I went out to lunch after the event. We ate at a little bistro along the pathway towards our hotel. Nicole was wearing a red and white floral dress with open backed red high heels. I recall the dress so well since it is one my favorite dresses I have seen her wear. While looking out the window, we saw a handsome guy walk past on the street. He was wearing round glasses and he had a full mustache. He was tall and a snice slim build. We both looked at the man outside twice as he reminded us both of Tom Cruise in his favorite disguise. Lemonade with vodka was a top choice drink at the time. It still is since its a low calorie drink with lots of fun in it. Mojitos were popular at the time, neither of us wanted to drink that heavy so the nice light smaller in size lemonades were perfect. We kept discussing how much we liked the water. We both love to swim and being beachside is a part of both of us. As we saw the daylight turn to dusk, it became competely obvious that the hours were slipping past. We had lost track of time, but we knew it was time to going. Nicole and I agreed to get together again soon and we went our separate ways.
