An Evening Out with Nicole Kidman

Since my last blog, Nicole Kidman spoke to me about the fun we had when she gave me a chance to attend one of her favorite charity events. A few years ago, I wasn't aware that she had so many available invites. Each season Nicole makes a list of those people whom she feels deserve a great experience.These people might not be seen by anyone other than her inner circle of family but they are always in her life. The press allow her certain privacy when she attends things for the benefit of her own freedom.  They respect her and her lifestyle gives Nicole a chance to be open to many unusual opportunities. Being stealth isn't easy but the media gives Nicole that privacy when she asks for it. Nicole doesn't ask which often. She is a people person plus many of the people who photograph Nicole at random events are friends or acquaintances that she enjoys seeing. Who wouldn't like to ham it up for the media as the camera's flash. It's fun for Nicole to give joy to them while expressing it herself. Keith Urban likes it when his wife gets an impulse that makes people smile. When she wants some privacy, Nicole simply lets them know ahead of time and the press always accommodates her. They can be very fair with people but in her words they can also be sometimes cruel. Now back to the event I was discussing. Sometimes a little background information is useful since no one can be Nicole Kidman but Nicole Kidman. Personally I am grateful that there is only one Nicole even though sometimes it would seem that having many Nicoles would be wonderful. The one we have is perfect the way she is that I couldn't imagine striking the lottery more than once. Nicole is one of the many celebrities who give back as part of their thankful lifestyle. Some people are beautiful through and through.

Nicole and Keith are such a free spirited couple that make life enjoyable for many. Good love makes good times:) 

The event Nicole took me to was an inside celebrity only fundraiser. There are many private events that often are held in the private homes of certain famous people, multimillionaires or other lesser known generous donors. Private fundraisers involving celebrities go on both politically and civically like the one I mentioned with Al Gore and John Glenn or the Governor's Mansion event that I have displayed. Neither of these were in the media. The event Nicole took me to was one for a foundation that makes donations in the names of others. It was not a Red Carpet Event because the privacy and intimacy of smaller events is sometimes more conducive to the location and theme. From what I have noticed smaller charity events are more popular with the people who organize them as well as easier to host. The Prince Harry and Prince William also attend certain low key events that Buckingham Palace organizes for drop bys or quick pop ins as they say.

Nicole has a list of people she likes to party with or to host with. On certain occasions even Keith will become the main organizer and all this goes on in direct conversations with each celebrity. The press does not get involved in the little events. The fundraisers go on and no one is aware of it unless they were in attendance. The privacy is part of the fun of it. Another example of a private celebrity event is the one involving Jimmy Fallon. Jimmy enjoys teasing Nicole about a celebrity dinner they attended and no one has ever seen the photos from it on a formal scale. Sometimes it is good to realize that famous people do get out like we do. John Travolta sometimes gets generous ideas in his head to support a cause or surprise a person with a gift of a dinner party. John hosts some well done wonderful private party events that help many. He is a really nice guy. Nicole seems to think so and I have heard a lot of nice things about him. The fact that people dont hear everything is the way its suppose to be. Hollywood has its magic. We all agree that its important to understand how much celebrities give inside the right context. Making demands on others is not what life is about. Giving selflessly is important to all our lives and its a step towards lasting joy.

The event Nicole and I attended was a simple event but it had the celebrity status and several other stars were with us. It was nice to mingle. We joked around with several of the guests as we spent time with each person. We both always have something funny to say and our shared sense of humor cracks people up. If I mentioned the names of who was there that night, then I might give away how many famous people slip off quietly and who they are as well as what circles they run in when not in the public eye. In order to respect that privacy, I will simply say Nicole was not the only famous person in attendance but she was my favorite. You can't beat a good girl pal to hang out with on any occasion.

The intimate event had appetizers and a variety of gourmet finger food. Groups gathered in several rooms in the house. It was easy to go from one setting and conversation to the next. Nicole and I stuck together as we ventured from the various settings. Laughing as we enjoyed the festivities. Nicole and I spend a lot of our time laughing. I think I mentioned before that she and I share the same joyful attitude. We laugh at the funniest things. Celebrity charity events are always fun. Knowing this is going on behind the scenes conveys the fact that many well known people never stop giving and they dont need anyone, press or fanfare to reach out their hand to a person in need or a group with great intentions. Its a nice thing to know that the intentions of many people of privilege are to live good gracious lives where making a difference is important. The charity dinner party we attended that evening is such a sweet memory. Mingling with ordinary people as ordinary people was part of the illusion. It was such a relaxing atmosphere and a lot of things were accomplished.

Nicole was wearing a dark blue short skirt and a purple shirt. The outfit was very casual but it had a very regal feel to it. I wore a similar pink outfit with black accents. we weren't twinsies because of the color differences. I did not get a chance to share many details but I will get to that in another blog.

I am working on shooting this week so more new images will be out.

On a side note, Will Smith cracked up when he heard I saw John Travolta because John forgot to mention it. I heard, John and Will had discussed me before, but John did not mention he had seen me. It was a little secret that I revealed in this blog. That meant Will was not aware of something and he thought that was funny. Will is a great person with a very athletic attitude. He is similar to me in some ways. We both love to exercise and both have stamina that we are well known for amongst certain people. Will Smith is one of the people whom I have bumped into from time to time. I mentioned him in a past blog on exercise.

Snorkeling with Brad Pitt

Bad Pitt and I went snorkeling one day. It was a special trip since both of us love wildlife and experiences in different underwater environments is always remarkable. He had been to the snorkeling location he took me to before. His experience was worthy of repeating . It gave Brad  insight into how to attract certain species to us and where in the site was the best location to view each distinct area. We swam close to the shore. The view was clear to the distant areas of the ocean. I had been to LA so many times before but this adventure was new to me. In previous discussions, I spoke about the several different aquariums that I had owned throughout my life. Living on the East Coast as a child fostered a strong interest in me for aquatic life. The smell of the ocean is intoxicating and waves are hypnotic. I enjoy the water.

One of my favorite ads and photos is from Brad's Chanel campaign. He knows I love Chanel 5. A few of you might not know I have always only worn Chanel 5 as my fragrance.

Brad's swimming background made him a natural snorkeler. He was such a good guide as he pointed out each fish that darted into our path as well as those that were in the distance. Before long I got wrapped up into this underwater world so full of beauty. Some of the fish would swim up in curiosity much like on the tv shows. The fact that we were so close to each other made the time extraordinarily fun. He is one of the most loving men. Brad likes to show off his knowledge of snorkeling and underwater skills.

One of the things I like about Brad is how he gets completely engaged in each experience down to the finest detail. Savoring each moment as he learns.  He is a great teacher. I enjoy being a student. At times we switch roles with ease. For example, he does not know as much about the Ballet as I do so we switch roles. We are both always learning. Humility teaches us to always be aware that opportunities will provide themselves for growth that only an open humble mind can experience. Through growth we transform. Life is dynamic as a student and a instructor. Maybe that is why I enjoyed my work throughout the years as a teacher. From camp counselor, to swim instructor in several communities, to teaching cheerleading to aerobics in gyms and even my teaching of disabled children. My extensive experience gave me a gauntlet of knowledge on how to instruct with respect and love. Good teachers reach out to students of all ages and all abilities to provide for them the experience of useful knowledge. At the same time good teachers listen to what each person has to say. It is an exchange that makes the relationship of student and teacher work so well. Brad is a gifted instructor. When he helps a person to understand his views or gives them new knowledge, he shows them respect combined with patience. That day Brad was really shining as a teacher for I learned more about the experience of snorkeling and wildlife than I had in most other new experiences I have had. He taught me a lot that day without realizing it.

Much of the communication was nonverbal after all we were underwater with snorkels in our mouths most of the time. Hand gestures, eye contact and loving touches was all we used to truly experience the adventure. At one point, he was doing the most outrageous hand gestures to crack me up. Being underwater is very intimate. It might be primeval, but water is very peaceful. I loved every minute of it. Brad Pitt is a handsome guy but it is his big heart and sensitive ways that makes him more than just a pretty face. I wish I could recall the name of the place. I have been to LA so many times throughout the years that I tend to forget names of places but I always recall the experiences. When you travel all over the US, coast to coast and everywhere in between as often as I have it is easy to forget names. Benjamin Button is like me in his travels but obviously on a much larger scale.

On a side note, I have a friend named Dylan who says he has the greatest idea for an American detective comedy show. Dylan Moran has one of the funniest concept comedy shows that I have heard about it awhile. Details on it I will share in the future.

Ice Skating with the Romantic Matthew Morrison

Matthew Morrison is a natural athlete who loves to participate in sports. On one of our outings , we went ice skating. He is very skilled at skating. I have never had formal lessons but I am still very capable. I enjoyed skating backwards, doing little jumps and turns just as I normally do. Matthew did not let me steal the show on the ice. Ice skating flows when it is done with grace and confidence. To my surprise Matty joined in and began flowing across the ice in a smooth artistic way. We enjoyed sharing the experience with each other. The people at the rink did notice us playfully skating together.

I always wear pink jackets and Matthew Morrison like green. The two colors were flattering together against a white background. My long blonde hair was loose, just as he likes it. There were times when he could come up behind me and but his hands on my hips as we skated together. I like how affectionate he is because it reflects the same closeness and physical expressions of love that I enjoy. Renee, Matthew's wife, is the same and she is famous for her heartfelt hugs. A good hug says a lot about a person. Someone who loves to really give a big hug always has a lot of joy in their heart and love to share that is overflowing.

We skated for a couple of hours as the time flew past. Holding hands at times as we spoke to each other and got caught up in the moment. When we were finished skating, Matthew and I went out to a local bar. He knows the best places to go. It was an old tavern style bar in Northern New Jersey. I enjoyed the atmosphere since it was an older building. The bartender made an excellent gin and tonic. I could feel it kick in. I might have gotten a little giggly while I got caught up in the mood. Matthew was laughing as we enjoyed the evening. We both wore slim fitting jeans with sweaters. He had on the nicest blue sweater. The color was stunning. Fashion Forward has always been Matty's style.

Matthew gave me this shirt a few years later with a smile as he said,"For old times sake."in a teasing way for he knew I would never forget him and the fun we shared.

After awhile the dj started to play and a crowd started to grow. We both love to dance and Matthew has such strong sexy arms and he is a pleasure to dance with to any music. Our combined dance training, meant we could dance together beautifully. Matthew Morrison has exquisite timing that comes with natural ability and years of experience. My husband is also an excellent dancer who picked up Swing dancing easily.

At the end of the evening, I went home and we set up plans for the next date. Matthew is an excellent kisser as you can imagine since he is such a passionate person.

Nicole Kidman Loves Her Coconuts

The reason I titled this blog Nicole Loves Her Coconuts is simply because coconuts are a staple of many tropical islands and her beloved homeland Australia has the wonderful plants growing in its soil. Even though its a beauty tip, coconuts are also sign of a sophisticated, relaxed and natural lifestyle. Often you see people at resorts drinking cocktails or even the juice straight from a coconut. Tropical islands and the ocean sets a tone of peace and pleasure.

The beauty of the islands and its healthy natural spirituality is contained  in the wonderful coconut for all to enjoy

Nicole likes to go home to Australia to enjoy the beach surroundings there and in other countries. She also loves to drink the coconut water and applies the coconut milk to her hair. I am a great fan of the benefits of using coconuts in my beauty and health routines. When Nicole told me about it , I agreed with her and mentioned that I also like to buy coconut oil from the store to apply directly on my hair. I use it on my skin as well. Both of us, like to rehydrate using coconut water. We both enjoy a nice glass of coconut water right after a workout. Drinking the tropical water has become very popular in recent years.

If Nicole is near a coconut tree , then she is near the beach that we both love. Even though the beach that was around me as a child was not tropical, it was still the ocean with all of the spiritual beauty and a few handsome lifeguards didn't disrupt the view. Dating Beach lifeguards some say might have become a hobby of mine at one time, but that's another story all together:)

When Nicole Kidman and I are at the beach together, we could sit back together and watch the waves while talking for hours. She is one of the most easy to talk to people I have ever met. We discuss our interest in fashion, workouts, playful time with children, and even art comes up. We always laugh a lot. Our shared outlook on life , means we have a common sense of humor. Nicole's sense of humor and her timing makes her a funny companion. She has a wonderful girlish laugh that reflects her playful mentality after all she is a Gemini(just like me).

Running in the water while the tide rushes against our legs, feels so good to both of us. One of my fondest memories involves time spent at the beach with Nicole as we played in the water. We love California and I have spent a lot of time out there. 

When Nicole and I see each other we like to play with her kids. Her daughters are so sweet. Keith Urban and Nicole have raised them to be joyful and open to people. The girls have Keith's sense of adventure and Nicole's sense of style. Even thought Nicole is not a shy type, its Keith who gets them up and going with Nicole's watchful eye on hand. They are two of the best parents any child could have and our mutual ideas on child rearing is another reason I respect Nicole so much.

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman sing the cutest version of "If I Can't Have You." Its a slightly dramatic song and the way they ham it up while flirting with each other is adorable. They sing the chorus to each other at spontaneous moments. The famous couple have so much fun together playing and performing together. My husband and I do the same thing but to slightly different music.
